I have been sewing and thought you would like to see what i have been making....i also have pictures of those dusky pink light shades finished and some hand made presents i have sent to blogging friends.
I really enjoy sitting down and choosing all the bits and pieces for what i am about to make and seeing what works together....sewing makes me really happy and i can honestly sit with a needle and thread for hours on end.
I love this Rose pink velvet ribbon and insertion lace is always pretty......

1930's lingerie fabric covered in roses and snow white lace.............
Which made this lady a new petticoat after she arrived with a torn one and full of holes........
Pretty in pink and back to her former glory.......
So pretty and so cozy now the dark nights are here and i really like how the rose fabric looks with the lamp light........
The dusky pink lamp shades as i found them.......
Now with hand made ribbon roses, trims and old glass beaded fringing....... i have photographed them on two different lamps as i am not sure where they are going to go once we have moved to the beach cottage,i will wrap them up and pop them away for next year.....
Shades really soften the light in a room and give a lovely vintage glow...
A close up below for Ann who wanted to see my ribbon roses...............pretty glass bead fringing sparkling in the light....Boudoir Glamour.......

Hi K,
What a surprise I had yesterday when Postie brought in a package to my shop for me to sign for...And what a bigger surprise when I opened up the parcel! Oh my!! You have been so kind and generous with such a beautiful gift...what have I done to deserve such a gorgeous treat?!! Your work is so beautiful and I just adore the fabric you used…how could you bare to part with it?! I am truly grateful and love it so – it will be placed on a little French chair that I have in our bedroom...If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know...
You've been busy with so many pretty items...I feel honoured to have received one of your unique creations.
Have a fabulous day and thank you again very naughty lady!

Sew happy and Sew pretty. I really am amazed at all of the pretty materials that find. I suppose I should start looking around in flea markets for fabrics and such. The lamp shades are really pretty too, and I love the night light. What a beautiful gown. Your sewing projects are encouraging me to start sewing again. Love your lovely projects.

You are absolutely amazing. I love the doll lamp so much. I gasped with delight when I saw her dress all lit up. The lamp shades are simply devine. I can't thank you enough for linking your inspiration post to our linky party. I really hope you will join us again next Wednesday.
