Thank you all for your lovely comments on my last post and a big welcome to new friends...we had a little make over at 'Shabbily By The Sea' this morning...with the chill in the air and the darker nights closing in we needed a little pink to warm things up a little around here and a new header picture with some of my favourite pieces.......
The 'Vintage Style Glass Dishes arrived with my wall organiser and i thought i would stage a few wedding vignette's....they are lovely and deep,so perfect for church candles,i filled mine with fresh rose petals first, they go perfect with my vintage cake stand and the sweet little musical bride was bought for me by my lovely Mum......
I found these vintage aurora borealis earings in a charity shop and they go perfect with my dress as it is covered in them...i couldn't resist putting them in the roses but then they do look oh so pretty.....The 'Vintage Style Glass Dishes arrived with my wall organiser and i thought i would stage a few wedding vignette's....they are lovely and deep,so perfect for church candles,i filled mine with fresh rose petals first, they go perfect with my vintage cake stand and the sweet little musical bride was bought for me by my lovely Mum......
I added a sweet roses china plate to one and stood a vintage roses jug on top...then filled with napkins, wouldn't this look lovely on a table at a wedding?....
Before pictures of bridal jewels by candle light?......
The ruffled rose in the glass dish above next to the candle is David Austin 'Cottage Rose and the beautiful blousy roses on the table are David Austin 'Spirit Of Freedom'....i adore both....although i can hardly wait come June to smell 'Spirit Of Freedom' again.....
I love this vintage cheese dish so very much it is covered in roses and lily of the valley...it will be sitting on my wedding table for sure.....
I love, love, love this Victorian vase dripping in jewels and so wish i could paint roses like that, don't you?......
Looking at these pictures makes me very happy that i ordered these glass dishes as they go perfectly with everything i already have......

I have thunder and lightening on my site..we haven't had but 1 rain since last Nov. and I was forgetting how it sounded. :)))
Breath-taking. I have said before that I have been able to give up buying expensive decorating magazine now that I follow such wonderful blogs as Shabbily By the Sea. I just love the photos you have taken. So beautiful and romantic. And the David Austins. Oh my. My favorite rose. The best bloomers, the best fragrance. I only have one here, and they are hard to come by.
It is just beautiful! And I love your phototgraphy. It is like stepping into a pretty picture when I stop by here. xo Diana
