Last Weekend.....

We locked the door on Shabbilybythesea last weekend and headed back to the city....the room we have been so busy in looked like this when we left, this is the view in the opposite direction and you can see it follows into a sun room which will soon have french doors into the garden.......

This weekend we will be busy painting in here.....i will also be painting the fireplace top to bottom in a delicious paint named 'slipper satin'......Steve added deep architrave to the cupboard doors and paneled the wall above i think he is doing an amazing job........

I planted a David Austin rose by my front door last weekend called 'James Galway' it is said it has a delicious old rose sent mmmmmmm.....
It will look like this when it flowers by my front door......
Makes me think of the movie Cheri......
I had a little treat this week too from the lovely Alison at vintage amethyst, she has in her beautiful shop this very pretty mini bunting and at £4.50 how you can you say no?

I pinned it onto the shelf of pretties above my table so i can see it as i blog,if you would like some pop on over to Vintage Amethyst

It looks so pretty while i am blogging,

Have a wonderful weekend girls! see you on Monday,

Love Kristina XxX

Hi Kristina
Ohh the room will look lovely all painted.
Ahh you're welcome for the bunting, it really is adorable. Although you did make a teeny mistake calling me Amanda, but it doesn't matter.
Have a lovely weekend

Your cottage is coming along. I love the David Austin. I have one here at the new garden spot. They are very hard to find at garden centers. I have several at the old house where they bloomed their little hearts out. Yours will be so beautiful. cheers.

Wow you guys have done so much!!! The wood paneling and trim looks fabulous. Will you be painting it white? French doors make any place charming. They are simply magical to me. Enjoy your weekend painting by the sea. ox

Dear Kristina, I was so glad to hear from you. I am a little slow getting around as we have 4 grandgirls playing softball and it keeps us pretty busy, trying to see them all.

Your cottage is going to be so amazing.
hugs, bj

I wanted to stop by and say thank you
Your words were kind and supportive
I would love love love to out the women who are stealing, but I feel I am better than that as a person.
I would never want to bring hurt as they have done to me.
