Mirror Make Over!

Hey Blogettes,

It has been so cold here in the UK and with schools closed the festivities carried on in our house, eating all the scrummy Christmas food that was left in the cupboards, watching movies with the fire crackling... it was heavenly spending time relaxing with family and because of the snow (thank you) no where to go and nothing to do.

Now all that is over i really wish i was sat here on the end of my deck next to my little pond listening to the water babble with some sewing to while away the hours.......it won't be long now though will it girls?
I was looking through my pictures and found this mirror i picked up last year for £5 and the make over i had done on it,so here it is as i found it...... click on any pic for a better view
Undercoated and two coats of F and B Slipper satin white.....
Then with raised moldings picked out in antique white.......
For £5 and a few hours work with paint i had left over i was a very happy Blogette!

Have you made anything over lately?

I would just like to say a big thank you to all 56 of you for following my little blog and reading my ramblings, i am really shocked there are so many of you!

Lots Of Love Kristina XxX

Hi! I found you through Lemonade Kitty. That mirror looks amazing! I love F & B Slipper Satin too, in fact I have it on all of the wood work in my house. I just posted about a mirror I recently picked up to go over my fireplace which I thought was a steal at 50 pounds but five pounds!? Where do you do your bargain hunting? Love your blog :O)

I'm a recent follower, your ideas are lovely. The garden also looks stunning, I'll enjoy seeing more as the seasons roll by.

Oh that is beautiful!
I recently bought a similar mirror from a charity shop for £10, intending to paint it white, but never quite got around to it. After seeing your photos I will definitely have to paint it white as soon as possible! thank you :)
